PURPOSE OF THE STUDY Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is defined as a permanent chronic pain originating from the sacroiliac joint, limiting patient's daily activities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effectiveness minimally invasive stabilization by triangular titanium implants in patients with dysfunction. MATERIAL AND METHODS prospective evaluated who had underwent for use iFuse® implants. surgery performed solely under fluoroscopic guidance or together O-arm O2® mobile imaging system. clinical condition, Visual Analogue Scale preoperatively and one year postoperatively, previous surgeries lumbar spine region, occurrence complications were recorded. minimum follow-up period 1 year. RESULTS group composed 20 patients, whom 4 men 16 women. mean age 48.9 years. covered 21 joints. Improvement condition reported 17 cases (81.0%), no relief observed (19%). VAS score 6.1 points decreased 2.9 postoperatively (p=0.0001). CONCLUSIONS should be reserved experiencing an intractable all non-operative therapy failed.
